FAQS

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS CHARGES

We ship worldwide. If your country/region adds customs charges to inbound packages, it is your responsibility to pay for the charges. Please check or email us first if you have questions. We are unable to mark the packages "gift" or declare lower values

WHAT MATERIAL ARE THE MIRRORS MADE FROM?

Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate - A premium, engineering-grade, high-tech plastic, with carbon fiber infused into it. Super strong, stiff and also great for outdoor applications. Read more about it here.

DO THEY VIBRATE?

Keeping in mind that these mirrors are fitted to single-cylinder motorcycles renown for vibrations, the mirror vibrations are still minimal and similar to stock. In my testing, the minimal vibrations (most obvious at cold-start and idle) have not prevented me from seeing vehicles behind me

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/WARRANTY/GUARANTEE POLICY?

Warranty is 6 months from purchase date on manufacturing defects and does not apply to any damages or breakages caused by crashes/accidents/ dropped bikes. Full details are on the Warranty Page

Please ask questions before you buy about fitment and any other concerns as we do not accept returns for fitment issues or "change-of-mind".

If the package is completely unopened, We'll accept a return with a $15 restocking fee. Full refund will be processed once the mirrors are back with us and inspected and confirmed to be new and ready to put back into stock

ARE THEY ADJUSTABLE?

Because we all run our brake/clutch levers at different angles, the mirrors have multiple adjustment points to ensure you can adjust them for a good rear view.

ARE LEFT AND RIGHT IDENTICAL?

SM1 - No, the stock mounting points (clutch-left, brake-right) are very different from each other, So we had to design different left and right mounts.

SM2 / SM3 / SM4 - Yes

HOMOLOGATION

StealthMirrors are not taken through any homologation process. It is your responsibility to check if they are acceptable to your local standards for on-road usage. We sell them under the assumption that they are not, so are for show or offroad purposes

HOW TIGHT IS TOO TIGHT ON THE M10 BOLTS/SCREW

SM1 / SM5 / SM6 / SM698 / SM7 Mirrors all ship with custom designed and manufactured titanium M10 screws/bolts to fasten the mirrors into the OEM/stock locations. These bolts should only be tightened to the point that the mirrors are not loose and cannot rotate when firmly pushed (i.e. a knock should be able to rotate them). A torque spec is not helpful here as torque wrenches vary heavily and the torque on this M10 bolt is very very low compared to a more standard M10 interface. Over-tightening will break the mirrors as it stresses them in the inter-layer direction. Indenting the plastic is a sign of substantial over tightening. If you are worried about the M10 bolt coming out, don't be! When tightened properly (just enough to prevent easy rotation of the mirror), the bolt stays put! If you're still worried, use a tiny drop of blue loctite.
